Sarah Lee Myracle

I joined Brevard FUMC in 1974 and immediately began teaching Sunday School music to the children ages 3—sixth grade, an activity that I continued until last fall. 

Throughout my years in the church, I have accompanied the Children’s Choir, the Youth Choir, the Singing Saints, and the Chancel Choir, which I continue to work with.  I became a founding member of the handbell choir and continue to play in that group.  At some point I decided to follow a dream and attempt to learn to play the pipe organ, totally as a hobby. 

The hobby developed into subbing for our organist throughout the year, and now I’m serving as interim organist as we search for a replacement.  I have been blessed to be surrounded by music all my life and to  serve my church in such a rewarding way.
